Maggie Rogers

Pharrell Williams’ protégé had a lot of things going for her in 2016, including her breakthrough single “Alaska” spreading widely across the internet and getting massive popular acclaim. We’ll hopefully hear some more from her through a possible upcoming EP, or maybe even a full length album if we’re lucky enough.

Sampha

He’s been releasing new music for a while now, but things are getting serious for Sampha in 2017. With a debut full length expected to come out and a second tour in two years, it’s definitely gonna be an exciting year for the talented producer.

Halo Maud

Formerly part of Myra Lee, Moodoïd and Melody’s Echo Chamber, she teased us with new material in 2016. We’re still waiting for a first solo album from the delightful Halo Maud, and we think 2017 might just be the year she’s gonna shine to blind everyone.

Gordi

Since 2015, Gordi’s been hailed as one of the most promising young artists of her generation. Having collaborated with members of Sigur Rós and Gotye, praised by Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon and with a wonderful first EP made specifically for our generation, a full length from her would make 2017 incredibly cool.

Alexandra Savior

Few artists have as much audacity as Alexandra Savior. At 21-years old, she makes amazing indie music, with a very mature touch. Featured on Cameron Avery’s “We’re Just Making It Worse”, the True Detective soundtrack and mentored by Alex Turner, she’s scheduled to release her first album, Belladonna Of Sadness, in 2017, and we can’t wait.
