“But Not Without Your Help” won’t be the name of De La Soul’s upcoming record, it actually means that the legendary Hip Hop group are calling out for their fans’ funds in order to finance their latest project.
The trio took their idea to Kickstarter with an objective of raising 110 000$ for an eighth LP. The album will presumably feature appearances by huge stars such as Blur and Gorillaz’s Damon Albarn, 2 Chainz, Little Dragon, and more. Also present on the record will be samples of De La Soul previous works and extremely rich discography.
The group is also offering plenty of insanely special and exclusive merch in exchange of backers’ funds. Check out their project, “The Nobodies Who’ve Done a Few Things”, on the group’s Kickstarter page.
