How excited can you get when a “fictional” band reunites? Well, Gorillaz fans will confirm that no matter how real band members are, any comeback news can get you jumping out of your seat.
As it turns out, co-creator and producer Jamie Hewlett has been hinting a comeback by posting three images of the famous Gorillaz characters on instagram. He then confirmed it by replying to one of the posts by simply saying “Yes Gorillaz returns”.
A confirmation is still expected on behalf of co-founder and ex-Blur frontman Damon Albarn, but we’re too excited to think about this right now.
