8. Philip Glass
Philip Glass hasn’t made his mark by getting involved in masterpieces or well-known films, except maybe the Truman Show. However, the power and efficiency of his score make it impossible for us not to put him on the list. Mostly composed for the piano, Glass’ pieces consist of simple patterns, underlined by a few support instruments that create hypnotizing and captivating music.
