Despite having worked on one of the most famous American features of all time, Nino Rota has spent most of his career composing for the Italian cinema industry. Apart from masterpieces such as The Leopard by Luchino Visconti, Rota’s work is mostly recognized for his lasting partnership with the most acclaimed Italian director ever, Federico Fellini. This duo has created classic movies such as La Dolce Vita and 8½ that have had huge impacts on the Italian and the international movie industry.
